Hey, do you have any idea of video cards upgrades that are available for the presario f500?
i bought a game, and apparently my video card isnt sufficient for high level graphics and gameplay (graphics card is good though) so i can only play the game in low quality at the moment.

Hi my name is john and im having a problem with my compaq F500. the dvd/cd. drive as stopped working on my laptop drive i installed a program but the disk does not work?but when i go on computer then driver then right ckick the program is still there saying instail now but when i put disc back in !!! no joy! computer say,s not responding. and when i auto restore no joy?
can you PLEASE GIVE ME HELP!
would be very gratefull for any help as im going mad!!!

Hi Peter, I get about 10-15 fps solidly when playing WoW under Ubuntu, sometimes rising to 25fps or higher indoors, and depending on how many other Windows I have open.

You do need to have most (or all) of the effects turned right down though – the GeForce Go 6100 isn’t really designed for playing games :)

Hey I was just browsing through and found your site. I have a quick question if you don’t mind answering. I was thinking about buying a laptop with a Nvidia 6100 Go video card similar to yours, and I was wondering if you could tell me what range of FPS you got from the game because you noted that it ran quite well.
